ATI Brings HD Gaming to Mobile Users

ATI Technologies Inc. raised the performance bar with the introduction of MOBILITY RADEON 9800. Designed for the mobile gaming enthusiast, MOBILITY RADEON 9800 enables users to enjoy the latest DirectX9 games at optimal settings for the highest levels of performance.

Based on core technology from the award-winning RADEON X800, MOBILITY RADEON 9800 is a powerhouse visual processor that blends the best of the desktop and mobile graphics world, to the ultimate benefit of the user. MOBILITY RADEON 9800 is available from Dell on the Inspiron XPS in North America and the Inspiron 9100 in Europe.

Rich on features and performance, the AGP-based MOBILITY RADEON 9800 comes equipped with eight pixel pipelines and a 256-bit wide memory interface. This increase in performance is harnessed with such features as SMARTSHADER HD and 3Dc for improved graphics detail and cinematic visuals. Additionally, through the integration of POWERPLAY technology ATI can aggressively push the performance envelope while addressing the low power requirements of the mobile market.
