(Fox Press Release) 20th Century Fox announced today that the teaser trailer for the upcoming James Cameron-directed AVATAR has become the most-viewed trailer ever on the Apple website. It has registered over four million streams in its first day on the site, shattering the previous record of 1.7 million.

On Friday, the trailer also arrived in theaters around the world, presented in all formats, including IMAX 3-D, IMAX 2-D, digital 3-D, digital 2-D, and 35mm 2-D.

AVATAR opens in theaters everywhere on December 18th, 2009.

For the quarter ended June 30, 2009, Activision Blizzard’s GAAP net revenues were $1,038 million, and its non-GAAP net revenues were $801 million. The company’s prior GAAP net revenue outlook for the quarter was $1 billion. On a non-GAAP basis, the company’s net revenue outlook was $775 million.

IGN UK reports via THE KOREA TIMES that Kwon Sang-woo is in talks to replace Stephen Chow as Kato in the GREEN HORNET feature. THE KOREA TIMES states that the actor passed an English audition for star Seth Rogen and director Michel Gondry. An official announcement is expected in a month. Kwon is a Korean heartthrob who has starred in over a dozen film and TV projects in Korea since moving from being a model.
