Now on exhibit at Comic Con 2012, Snow White and Pinocchio art are among the highlights of the Profiles in History animation collection, which goes up for auction on July 29. According to The Hollywood Reporter, these big-ticket items are expected to fetch upwards of $80K each. Other rare items include a one-of-a-kind 1953 Disneyland prospectus and art from beloved '60s-'90s animated shows, including The Simpsons and Scooby Doo.

This original production cel of Samantha on a broom from the opening sequence of Bewitched comes from the show's seventh season.

1953 Disneyland Prospectus

Walt Disney and artist Herb Ryman produced this drawing to give potential investors a feel for what the theme park, which opened in 1955, would look like. In addition to this 2' x 3' map the item includes a nine page description of the park and a smaller black and white map. The only known surviving copy of three sets made for a presentation to New York bankers.

The Simpsons Family

Among the modern pieces up for auction are many cels from the SImpsons. This image of the Maggie, Marge, Homer, Bart, and Lisa at the opera from the season 1 episode "Bart, The Genius." The background is a  20th Century Fox-produced reproduction added to the piece for the sale. 

Pinocchio in Geppetto's Workshop

This item places original Pinocchio and Geppetto cels on top of an original background featuring the toymaker's workshop. Although these three items were not on screen together, they are all originals. The background alone is considered one of the finest surviving pieces of art from the Disney's 1940 hit, considered one of the finest animated movies ever.
