Press Release from Arsenal FX
With “Fireworks,” Arsenal FX continues its legacy of top-notch work with US Cellular and Publicis & Hal Riney, SF. For their latest collaboration, Owner/Artist Mark Leiss helps to deliver a wake up call for wireless. Camera follows a lit fuse as it winds its way across a sleepy, deteriorating rooftop representing the wireless world. The fuse ignites all manner of devices – toasters, TVs, a frying pan, and neon signs – culminating in a break-of-dawn explosion in the form of The Belief Project.
Mark’s contribution to “Fireworks” was not limited to post production and visual effects (which included online, roto, compositing, and “fuse enhancement”); he also played piano on the spot’s track, an atmospheric and haunting rendition of “Moonlight Sonata.”
