Darren Aronofsky is the latest name added to the mix of directors circling Warner Bros.' SUPERMAN reboot, reports Heat Vision. Time is ticking for producers Christopher Nolan and Emma Thomas to get the project rolling before Warner Bros. loses rights to the character in 2013.
The other names on the list include Tony Scott, Zack Snyder, Duncan Jones (MOON), Jonathan Liebesman (BATTLE: LOS ANGELES) and Matt Reeves (LET ME IN). Ben Affleck, following the success of THE TOWN for WB, met about the job, but he is no longer interested.
