Aquakids Paddles Onto French Télétoon

France Animation has signed a deal with Télétoon in France for new series AQUAKIDS. Produced by leading Korean animation company Cinepix, the 26x26 show features a state-of-the-art, dynamic 3D animation style for kids 6-12 that combines kids, robots and underwater adventures.

Set in the near future, the series is based in a fantastic world where humans live at sea and where every child has a cuddly little pet robot that can transform into a powerful diving gear.

One day, three kids and a friendly archaeologist go to an underwater quest to discover the secret of a lost civilization. During their adventures, they make new friends but also encounter monsters, pirates and a cruel, evil mastermind who wants to rule the world. Their courage and sense of friendship helps them to overcome any problem while having fun at the same time.

Lionel Marty, head of sales and acquisitions at France Animation, which has the distribution rights to the series for French-speaking Europe, said: We are delighted to continue our excellent relationship with Télétoon and are confident that kids will love the exciting adventures of the AQUAKIDS.

Established in 1984, FRANCE ANIMATION, a new subsidiary of Antefilms Production, has become one of Europes leading production and distribution companies for youth programs. An active supplier, France Animation has a sales catalog with more than 1,200 half hours sold in more than 100 countries, and has become one of the top distribution companies in the domain of youth entertainment.
