AOL Launches New Animated Kol Super Gliders

AOL's kids site, KOL (www.kol.com) debuted today (May 2, 2007) the KOL SUPER GLIDERS, a cartoon series based on KOL's mascots Ariel and Kiki -- two sugar gliders (marsupials) that live at the AOL headquarters in Dulles, Virginia. In the series, Ariel, the leader of the Sugar Gliders duo, and Kiki, the smart and bubbly, yet forgetful sidekick, are responsible for stopping evil schemes around the world.

Using their wild creativity and a slew of helpful friends, Ariel and Kiki battle the Terra-Tech crew, which plots to turn the Earth into one giant machine one tree or animal at a time. The series combines live glider footage with animation and was produced in partnership with World Leaders Ent.

Ariel and Kiki previously had their own hugely popular area on the KOL service, complete with videos of their daily adventures, games, photo galleries, polls and more. KOL also offered educational information on sugar gliders and marsupials teaching kids fun factoids.

KOL on AOL is designed entirely for kids, combining exclusive content from industry leading kids' brands and original programming. KOL reaches millions of kids each month with four animated online series, PRINCESS NATASHA, SKWOD, KUNG FU ACADEMY and PILAR'S ADVENTURES.
