Annecy 2009 Call for ProjectsDeadline: February 15, 2009
The Creative Focus is strengthening its support to projects for animation films At Annecy 2009. Discovering and promoting projects for animated films has always been central to the Creative Focus and has become a top priority.
After a very promising start in 2008, Annecy is renewing its four Calls for Projects in 2009, adapted especially to the different categories concerned:
-- Short films: This Call for Projects is taking over from the Project Competition, which from 1997 to 2008 gave impetus to the creation of some 50 films, including THE WALL by Jerome Boulbes, TRAGIC STORY WITH HAPPY ENDING by Regina Pessoa, THE OTHER KID'S CASTLE by Pierre-Luc Granjon, LA ROUTINE by Cedric Babouche, JONA/TOMBERRY by Rosto or MONSIEUR COK by Franck Dion.
-- TV series and specials: Enables the authors of independent projects to find partners.
-- Feature films: Everything is organized to give filmmakers and producers the possibility to meet the financial and artistic partners needed to make their projects a reality.
-- Multimedia, for projects originally designed to be developed for the cinema or audiovisual and for video game. This Call for Projects has been launched in collaboration with the Imaginove competitive cluster and is part of Annecy proactive campaign for cross-media projects.
Deadline for entering projects is February 15, 2009. Rules are available on www.annecy.org.
