Anime USA is an annual Japanese animation and culture convention in the Virginia suburbs of Washington, D.C.
This year, Anime USA is hosting an Original Animation Contest. It is looking for original works of one-five minutes length in all animation formats: traditional, CG, stop-motion and so forth. First place prize is $500, second place is $300, third place is $100. All submissions will be shown at the convention. Applicants need not be present to submit or to win.
The theme of the convention this year is "Going to Tokyo", and submissions that most closely match that theme will be greatly appreciated.
