AniMazSpot Announces 2012 Festival Schedule

AniMazSpot, the spot to be for animated shorts, announces its 2012 Festival Schedule.

AniMazSpot 2012 is ready to open the gate to the fourth annual festival for and about animated short filmmakers, September 10 - 16.Ten tours are awaiting visitors during the week days leading up the weekend events, three nomination screenings will be held at the Woodbury theater on those last three week nights.  On Saturday afternoon and evening two events at the historic Alex Theatre in Glendale will celebrate UPA Pictures, the little studio that changed the face of modern animation. And, finally, five events are scheduled for the last day, Sunday the 16th, at Woodbury, ending with the Awards Ceremony and screening of the winning shorts.

The official festival T-Shirt this year takes its title from the afternoon event at the Alex. As you can see it comes in all sizes. The legendary June Foray, voice of Rocky Squirrel, Witch Hazel, and countless others, is seen here modeling her t-shirt with Festival Director, Tee Bosustow. It can be ordered on the AniMazSpot website.  All proceeds go to their non-profit mission.
