Animator Huy Dang Joins Concrete Pictures

Animator/designer Huy Dang has joined Concrete Pictures, reporting directly to Andy Hann, vp of creative services. Dang will assist the companys creative directors and producers in making animation and design for broadcast work.

I have always wanted to be part a companys success story, Dang said. Concrete Pictures is not only an award-winning company, but a company that is enjoying rapid growth. I look forward to a long career with them.

Dang was previously a 3D and motion graphics artist for the Unisys Corp. Past experiences at Digital Media Center had him not only producing broadcast animation and video, but also handling web and multimedia development. As a graphic designer and 3D artist for C-Traze Studios, Dang created 3D animation that focused on the hip-hop and urban culture for such companies as MTV, HBO and THE SOURCE magazine.

We are psyched to have Huy aboard, commented Hann. His combination of experience, hip aesthetic sensibilities and personal passion for CGI will prove to be a huge asset to our creative team.

Dang is a graduate of Philadelphias University of the Arts, where in 1993, he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration.

Philadelphia-based Concrete Pictures (www.concretepictures.com) creates video, film and interactive television experiences that identify and promote its clients brands, while entertaining and informing viewers.
