The Animation Guild Local 839 IATSE elected officers on Sept. 27, 2004, to serve a three-year term through 2007. Re-elected incumbents included president Kevin Koch, business representative Steve Hulett, recording secretary Jeff Massie and sergeant-at-arms Jan Browning. Executive board member Earl Kress was elected to replace retiring vp Kathleen O_Mara-Svetlik.
Newly elected to the executive board were Russell Calabrese, Carla Fallberg and Nathan Loufbourrow, replacing Earl Kress and retiring board members Mark Farquhar and Pres Romanillos. Re-elected to the board were Bronwen Barry, Dave Brain, John Cataldi, Bob Foster, Janette Hulett, Cathy Jones, Karen Nugent and Stephan Zupkas.
Because there was no contest in any of the above races, the membership voted unanimously to cast a "white ballot," dispensing with a secret-ballot mail election. The new officers will be installed in November.
