Hari Varma joins Toonz Animation India as director of computer graphics and visual effects. He was the vfx animation director of BOYS, the hit Tamil feature film, which won the Seagate Award for Excellence in Animation for Films, and the vfx animation supervisor for the award-winning Hindi feature, KOI...MIL GAYA.
Varma, also heads the Digital department of the 2D Animation. "Under the creative leadership of Mr. Varma, Toonz is all set to make a major foray into the world of 3D animation and visual effects for the entertainment industry," Toonz coo P. Jayakumar said.
A widely experienced professional, Varma has been associated with several international 3D animation productions, including SPOOKY SISTERS (Disney), NICK RACES (Nickelodeon), MR. MOON AND SWASHBUCKLERS for Skaramoosh, U.K. and BELIEVE-THE QUEST FOR INNOCENCE, a full-length 3D animation movie trailer from U.K.
