New York City-based Animation Collective and Canadian-based Fatkat Studios will co-produce a new, 26 half-hour episode action/comedy, animated series, THREE DELIVERY, in association with; Nicktoons Network, YTV and the BBC.
THREE DELIVERY, created by Animation Collectiveâs founder/ceo Larry Schwarz, is about a group of teenage delivery kids/superheroes, set in a Chinatown, animated in a highly graphic comicbook style. Produced with Fatkat as a U.S./Canadian co-venture. Animation Collective will handle worldwide television and consumer products sales.
Nicktoons will broadcast THREE DELIVERY in the U.S., YTV in Canada and the BBC in the UK. The series premieres in early 2008 in the U.S. and the U.K. and September 2009 in Canada. As part of a multiplatform initiative, Animation Collective is also producing 11, two-minute mobisodes for cellular phones and a complete online world for the series, which includes a massive multiplayer game.
Years ago, an evil young apprentice named Kong Li unleashed the power of a magical cookbook, scattering its dangerous recipes throughout Chinatown. Thanks to an ancient spell, a force field was placed around the city, keeping the magic in. the rest of the world had been protected, but now Kong Li has returned to find the powerful recipes. If he succeeds, evil power will be released and the world will be in danger.
Luckily, three teenage heroes, skilled in Kung Fu, have been trained to stop Kong Li. When orphans Sue, Sid and Toby are recruited by Nana to make deliveries for Wuâs Garden Chinese restaurant, they see it as a chance to move out of the orphanage and ride cool bikes. Little did they know that every evening they would be locked in a lightning-fast battle against evil for the fate of the world.

âTHREE DELIVERY is our first take on the superhero genre, but, like all of our series, it is driven by great characters and compelling, kid-relatable stories. The show is a fantasy, but the characters are written as real kids who viewers will want to emulate. We also incorporated tween trends, including extreme bike riding, punk and EMO,â said Schwarz, the showâs creator/exec producer.
