Animal Logic expands its advertising creative team with the addition of director Simon Robson and VFX supervisor and lead Flame artist Jonathan Hairman.

Animal Logic has expanded its advertising creative team with the addition of director Simon Robson and VFX supervisor and lead Flame artist Jonathan Hairman.

 Director Simon Robson spent over 10 years in London at several different production and animation studios and joins Animal Logic as a director in its Advertising and Multi Media division. While working with London’s Nexus Productions, Simon collaborated with clients, agencies and directors including Mars, Nike, Adidas, Wieden + Kennedy and Chris Atkins. He has been nominated for a BAFTA and won several awards.

Now living in Australia, Simon has been directing work for international clients bringing the style he has applied to his animations to live-action commercials for MasterCard, Coke, Kia Motors, Telstra and promos for SBS. He has been a creative director at Engine in Sydney and a director at Knife Party. He also directed the animation for a short film, Coalition of the Willing, made in 2010.

Jonathan Hairman, who has been working for over 18 years across a range of roles in film and television, returns to Animal Logic as VFX supervisor and lead Flame artist of its advertising team, following nine years at Framestore in London where he gained recognition for his work as a commercials VFX supervisor. With his distinctive eye for detail, he has worked with prominent directors including Martin Krejci, Tom Hooper, Johnny Green, Frank Budgen, Chris Palmer and Jonas Akerlund. In the role of compositor, The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, The Matrix Reloaded and Troy are among his credits
