Aniboom Taking Pitches for Online Series

Aniboom (www.aniboom.com) has inked an agreement with YouTube to distribute animated videos via the Aniboom branded animation channel (www.youtube.com/aniboom).

Aniboom offers animators to submit their shorts for distribution over their network, where filmmakers can set up personal home pages called Boomzones. Using "Animachines," Aniboom's unique online animation tools, visitors can create their own content as a hobby or professional endeavor. Additionally, Aniboom engages its community with a variety of creative contests with prizes valued up to $50,000.

In addition, Aniboom has launched a virtual Creator's Studio allowing animators of all levels to pitch, produce and monetize original animated content. Aniboom then selects animators to produce original series with Aniboom for multiplatform distribution opportunities.

"Aniboom is building a vibrant virtual studio that embraces animators from all walks of life and helps them navigate through the complex animation industry. The exposure animators receive through showcasing their work on Aniboom is a tremendous boon to their careers in addition to the opportunities and connections we can offer them professionally," said Uri Shinar, founder/president, Aniboom, and renowned Israeli broadcast veteran. "We are excited to work with YouTube to complement its entertainment offering with an array of high-quality original animated videos and cartoons to expose to animation enthusiasts across the globe."

The company has also introduced Micro-Smotion to its Animachines tool set enabling its community to produce stop motion animation projects. The company's first Animachine, Shapeshifter, allows visitors to use basic shapes to create animations. Since its launch three months ago, more than 18,000 animations have been created.

Shinar added, "Our Animachine tools tap into the animator in all of us allowing anyone to express themselves through the art form and share creations with friends. As the animation industry continues to grow rapidly in the U.S., we are thrilled to provide our users with the opportunity to follow their passion at aniboom.com."
