Angry Birds to Make Debut in Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

Rovio Entertainment signs three-year deal confirming involvement in the iconic event through 2017.

 

Rovio Entertainment has confirmed that an Angry Birds balloon will soar high above the streets of New York City as part of this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

A yet-to-be revealed character from the first ever Angry Birds movie, set for worldwide release on 20th May 2016, will make its debut at this iconic, internationally recognized event which takes place on 26th November 2015.  Over 3.5 million spectators line the streets of Manhattan for the Parade and a further 57 million viewers tune into the live telecast.
