American Greetings Properties Announces Four Promotions

American Greetings Properties, the intellectual property and outbound licensing division of American Greetings Corporation have promoted four execs.

Effective immediately, Mackenzie Glass has been promoted to creative director of design, Kelly Grupczynski has been named to creative director of illustration, Tony Chien has been promoted to director of marketing and Lisa Wascovich has been promoted to director of digital media. Glass, Grupczynski and Wascovich are based in American Greetings' world headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio, while Chien is headquartered out of the New York City office, where responsibility for the brand management, marketing functions and outbound licensing resides. All four will report to Jeffrey Conrad, SVP, consumer products for American Greetings Properties.

As Creative Director of Design for American Greetings Properties, Glass is responsible for the creative development of style guides, packaging, tradeshows and design collateral for all of American Greetings Properties' new and existing character brands.

Kelly Grupczynski was previously creative developer for American Greetings Properties. In her new role as creative director of illustration, Grupczynski will be responsible for the creative assets used in character development, entertainment, digital media and style guides.

Tony Chien was promoted from senior brand manager to director of marketing. In his new capacity, Chien will oversee and execute all consumer and trade marketing initiatives as well as business development for all brands under AGP. Prior to joining American Greetings Properties, Chien was manager of Toys and Sporting Goods at Nickelodeon and Viacom Consumer Products.

Lisa Wascovich was promoted to director of digital media. In her new position, Wascovich will oversee and execute all digital projects. She and her team are responsible for the creative and technical development of AGKidZone.com, AGP's branded websites, online advertising and promotion, digital content development and video games.
