Press Release from Alphanim

Paris, France September 27th, 2011 – For immediate release – Alphanim is coming to MIP Junior and Mipcom with Pok & Mok, a brand new 78x7’ comedy series produced for France Télévisions.

The series was created and directed by Isabelle Lenoble, one of France’s most prominent women in animation production with Lenoble’s stop-motion studio Vivement Lundi! co-producing.

Spain’s Motion Pictures and Disney XD in Latin America already picked up the series. Pok & Mok was produced with the participation of Canal+ who will get first broadcast window in France starting this October.

Inspired by a mix of sitcom, manga and cartoon, each episode depicts the daily life of 8 year-old Mok and its humanlike and furry sidekick Pok and their goofy discovery of sustainable development. The graphic designs are also a mix of techniques: interiors were built in scale-models and outdoors are featured in a photomontage technique, where characters are integrated in 2D animation.

Alphanim is exhibiting at Mipcom under its mother company Gaumont’s stand LR3.01.
