Alphanim and M6 Web have signed a two-year agreement to exploit more than 250 episodes of animated content provided by Alphanim in the areas of mobile and VOD. Under the terms of the agreement, M6 Web has the exclusive mobile and video-on-demand rights of eight animated series including Alphanims French and international hits POTATOES AND DRAGONS (78x7) and RALF THE RECORD RAT (104x1).
The agreement with M6 Web covers French-speaking audiences in Europe. Alphanims animation catalogue offers numerous programs for all audiences, particularly adapted to mobile devices and video-on-demand.
Jérémie Fajner, head of co-productions, Alphanim, said, "Mobile exploitations of our catalogue have been developing fast and we are particularly happy to strike a deal with such an outstanding partner as M6 Web. We are glad to see our properties go mobile and to become a reference content provider on this promising medium.
Founded in February 1997 by Christian Davin, Alphanim (www.alphanim.com) produces and distributes animated series and features. Its catalogue is nearing this year 550 half-hours of animation programs.
Created in January 2000, M6 Web (www.m6.fr) is the subsidiary of French TV broadcaster M6 for the Internet and interactive activities. M6 Web publishes multimedia contents for mobile phones (M6Mobile) and Internet websites (m6.fr, turbo.fr, m6music.fr), IVR and SMS. M6 Web's websites attract 1 million of unique visitors per month and broadcast 30 millions videos (from Netratings).
