ACME Filmworks, ASIFA-Hollywood and Women In Animation present a silent auction of original storyboard pastels and paintings and a screening of six animated shorts by Aleksandra Korejwo. Polish director Aleksandra Korejwo's unique style of animation is achieved by using colored salts that are manipulated with the use of a condor feather. A demonstration of this animation method will be presented. This is Aleksandra's debut screening of her collection of films and first art exhibition in the United States. The auction and screening will take place on Saturday, September 29, 2001 8:00 - 10:30 PM at the Directors Guild Theater, 7920 Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles, California. The film program will repeat hourly and refreshments will be served. This event is open to the animation community, but you must RSVP to attend.
