Al Ovadia & Associates has been retained by Kanbar Ent. to serve as worldwide licensing agent for HOODWINKED TOO: HOOD VS. EVIL, the sequel to the surprise CG animated hit of January 2006. The movie is being produced by Kanbar Entertainment and distributed by Kaleidoscope.
The sequel picks up where our heroes left off -- having formed the "Happily Ever After" detective agency where they pledge to solve fairy tale mysteries in their unique and clever style. In this chapter, Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf are forced into an uneasy partnership when Red's Granny and Hansel and Gretel, are kidnapped by a crazy Witch. The partnership seems doomed from the beginning as the two mismatched heroes' styles clash at every turn with comic and sometimes explosive results. Even Wolf's best friend Twitchy Squirrel, and Nicky Flippers, head of the agency, can't help these two work together.
Their search leads them to The Big City where they meet the Giant, a very large, small-time hood and his enchanted harp Jimmy Ten-Strings, and they go on to renew old rivalries (Boingo Bunny, their long time arch foe) and make new friends (Ernesto, a street wise mouse). Our heroes explore the secrets of Dark Castle Towers, fall into the clutches of the Itsy Bitsy Spider and face the horrible revenge of the Three Little Pigs. And, that's just for starters.
HOODWINKED TOO: HOOD VS. EVIL's voice cast includes Amy Poehler as Gretel, Hayden Panettiere as Red, Glenn Close as Granny, Martin Short as The Woodsman and Patrick Warburton as The Wolf.
