(AHDI), announced that the company has entered into an agreement for the first time with MTV Networks' Spike TV to serve as the international distributor of SPIKE TV SCREAM AWARDS 2006, the first annual televised event devoted to celebrating the horror, sci-fi and fantasy genres. Haber has secured the rights to worldwide distribution of SPIKE TV SCREAM AWARDS 2006 with the exception of the U.K. and Canada.

SPIKE TV SCREAM AWARDS 2006 is slated for production and premiere on Spike TV in October 2006 and will feature unique categories, a diverse mixture of popular icons and creators, honoring both the legends and the newest and hottest in horror, sci-fi and fantasy genres across a number of entertainment platforms including movies, television, comicbooks and music. In addition to recognizing pioneers, the annual awards will also feature several fan-based categories that represent viewers personal favorites. The two-hour extravaganza will include film and television superstars, A-list musical performers and clip packages from the best of todays, and yesterdays entertainment.
Its hard to imagine that the multi-billion dollar male-driven horror, sci-fi and fantasy industries have not been recognized in a big mainstream way until now, says Casey Patterson, exec producer/svp, event production and talent development for Spike TV.
