Recently, Activision, Inc. launched X2 WOLVERINE'S REVENGE for all five game platforms simultaneously. Inspired by the new feature film, X2: X-MEN UNITED and the Marvel comic, the new game has Wolverine venturing back to the Weapon X facility, where his skeleton was fused with the metal adamantium, to find the antidote for a viral time bomb in his body that will take his life in 48 hours. Along the way, players will battle mutant baddies such as Lady Deathstrike, Sabretooth, Wendigo, Juggernaut and Magneto. The game features the voices of Patrick Stewart (X-MEN) as Professor X and Mark Hamill (STAR WARS) as Wolverine. Manchester-based Genepool Software developed and produced the animation.

X2 WOLVERINE'S REVENGE is available at North American retail stores. The suggested retail price for PlayStation 2, Xbox and Nintendo GameCube is $49.99, and $29.99 for the PC and Game Boy Advance. All platforms carry a "T" (Teen - Blood, Violence - content suitable for persons ages 13 and older) rating by the ESRB, except for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance which is rated "E" (Everyone - Violence - content suitable for persons ages 6 and older).
