Zemeckis, Hanks Toy with Major Matt Mason

The Hollywood Reporter writes that Playtone's Tom Hanks is talking with his FORREST GUMP director Robert Zemeckis about turning the Mattel toyline MAJOR MATT MASON into a feature film. Hanks, who wrote the script with Graham Yost, would star in the 3-D film. Universal would be the studio behind the $100 production.

More Zemeckis Magical 3D? Didnt they learn their lesson with Mars Needs Moms? PLEASE STOP MAKING LIFELESS MOTION CAPTURED SHIT ZEMECKIS!

I always wondered what the budget on those loads of shit cost... Now, I know. A hundred bucks. And every dollar is up there on the screen. Now it all makes sense.
