Caleb Landry Jones, who played Banshee in X-MEN: FIRST CLASS, has been cast in the male lead of Neil Jordan's BYZANTIUM, reports Variety. He joins Saoirse Ronan and Gemma Arterton.

Based on Moira Buffini's play, the story follows a vampire mother and daughter who move into a small town and meet a teen dying of leukemia (Jones). Buffini adapted her own work.

Elizabeth Karlsen and Stephen Woolley are the producers.
