LATINO REVIEW is reporting that Sam Washington is a frontrunner to play Dracula in Universal's DRACULA YEAR ZERO.

The film, which is being directed by Alex Proyas (KNOWING, I, ROBOT), focuses on Vlad the Impaler and how he was made into a tragic character. The script was written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless.
