Mark Wahlberg is in talks to take the lead in Universal’s adaptation of the graphic novel 2 GUNS, reports ComingSoon.net. BROTHERHOOD creator Blake Masters is penning the script from Steven Grant’s book.
The story follows a DEA agent who sets to rob a bank that launders mob money with his partner who has secrets of his own.
Marc Platt and BOOM! Studios’ Andrew Cosby and Ross Richie are the producers. Adam Siegel is shepherding for Marc Platt Prods., while Jeff Kirschenbaum and Kiska Higgs are doing the same for Universal.
