Voice Actor/Comedian Kip King Dies

Kip King, one of the original Groundling comedians, died of a long illness on July 15th, reports VARIETY. He was 72 years old.

In the animation world, he is best known for voicing Tailor Smurf on THE SMURFS. His other cartoon credits include SCOOBY-DOO AND SCRAPPY DOO, THE BISKITTS, TOM & JERRY KIDS SHOW and I YABBA-DABBA DO!

He was born Jerome Kattan in Chicago. Illinois.

He is survived by his comedian son Chris Kattan.
