Joseph Morgan (MASTER AND COMMANDER) has been cast as original vampire Klaus on THE VAMPIRE DIARIES, reports Deadline.com. The CW series has been building the entire season for the characters big reveal. He beat out 100 hopefuls who also read for the role.
