TWILIGHT actress Ashley Greene is in negotiations to star in Dark Castle's THE APPARITION, according to VARIETY. Based on a true story, a young couple is plagued by ghosts after a college experiment.

Todd Lincoln is the writer/director. Joel Silver, Andrew Rona and Alex Heineman are the producer with Steve Richards, Sue Baden Powell and Daniel Alter exec producing. The concept for the film was developed by Lincoln, Heinerman and Alter.

Feb. 1 is set for the starting of filming.
