Natalie Dormer, who is best known for playing Anne Boleyn on THE TUTORS, has joined ABC’s POE, reports The Hollywood Reporter. The story casts Edgar Allan Poe (Christopher Egan) as an unconventional detective solving mysteries in 1840s Boston. The cast also includes Kevin McNally, Tabrett Bethell and Leslie Odom Jr.

Warner Bros. TV and Dan Lin’s Lin Pictures are the studios. Chris Hollier (ALIAS, KYLE XY) is penning the pilot. He will also exec produce alongside Lin and Brad Kern. Alex Graves (TERRA NOVA, FRINGE) is the director.
