In a small blurb in the German edition of GQ magazine, Matthias Schweighofer said he's in the running for a role in THOR and that Jude Law and Robert De Niro have also joined the cast, Ain't It Cool News reports.

The cast for the comic book adaptation scheduled for release on May 20, 2011, already includes Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Natalie Portman, Jaimie Alexander, Colm Feore, Samuel L. Jackson and Stellan Skarsgard.
