Irish actor Stuart Townsend has left the production of Kenneth Branagh's THOR, according to THE ASSOCIATED PRESS via COMINGSOON.NET.

He'd been cast in the role of Fandral, but left over creative differences and has been replaced by Joshua Dallas.

Townsend has been replaced in the last minute before when Viggo Mortensen replaced him as Aragorn in the LORD OF THE RINGS trilogy over a similar situation.
