Spock Gets Nimoy Treatment in Star Trek Online

Leonard Nimoy, the original actor who played Spock in STAR TREK, has joined the cast of STAR TREK ONLINE, a multiplayer online role-playing game, COMINGSOON.NET reports.

Nimoy will voice the introduction for the game from Atari and developer Cryptic Studios.

"I am happy to be involved with 'Star Trek Online.' In this game, the essence of 'Star Trek' – exploration and adventure – lives long and prospers," said Nimoy. "I'm pleased that a whole new generation of fans will be able to discover new frontiers in the 'Star Trek' universe."

The game will be available starting Feb. 2.
