Nicholas Hoult has landed the lead role in Bryan Singer's JACK THE GIANT KILLER, reports Deadline.com. He will play a young farmer who leads a band into giant country after their princess is kidnapped. Christopher McQuarrie, Mark Bomback and Darren Lemke penned the script. Hoult joins Bill Nighy, Stanley Tucci and John Kassir.

The hot young actor can next be seen in Singer-produced X-MEN: FIRST CLASS and George Miller's Mad Max flick FURY ROAD.
