Shark Tale's Bergeron Romances Live-Action Pic & 3-D Toon

SHARK TALE director Eric "Bibo" Bergeron is working on a live-action fantasy romance, reports VARIETY. Set in the 19th century, the story follows a revolutionary female actress as she becomes a star. The filmmaker is in talks with a big name French actress to star.

Additionally, Bergeron is working on a $35 million animated feature where a hero gets transported into a parallel universe. He is developing an in-house 3-D procedure for the production.

Bergeron will write, direct and produce both films via his Bibo Films and Pumpkin Factory. His partner Louis Viau will produce as well.

Bergeron is finishing his latest animated film, A MONSTER IN PARIS, for EuropaCorp.
