Jason Segel has a love for puppets. His character in FORGETTING SARAH MARSHALL, which he wrote, composed a DRACULA musical using puppets and now the HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER star will take the human lead in Disney's new Muppet movie, which he wrote with Nicholas Stoller, reports HEAT VISION.

Little is known about the plot, but it is known that Segel's character will help bring the Muppets back together.

He will also produce with Mandeville Films/TV's David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman. James Bodin will direct.
