Sandra Bullock Rockets to Gravity
Warner Bros. is now in talks with Sandra Bullock to headline Alfonso Cuaron's GRAVITY, reports Variety. Previously, the studio was negotiating with Natalie Portman and Angelina Jolie, but no deal could be reached with those actresses.
Bullock would play an astronaut stranded at a remote space station after satellite debris destroys her spaceship, killing the rest of her crew. Robert Downey Jr. will co-star.
Cuaron penned the sci-fi epic with son, Jonas. Heyday Films' David Heyman and Legendary Pictures are the producers.
The $80 million 3-D project was originally at Universal, but moved to Warner Bros.
