Robert Downey Jr. Bows Out of Cowboys & Aliens

Robert Downey Jr. had to drop plans to reteam with IRON MAN director Jon Favreau in COWBOYS & ALIENS at Dreamworks, THE LOS ANGELES TIMES reports.

Favreau is still on board to direct, but Downey Jr. had scheduling conflicts. Production is set to get underway this year in order to meet a release in summer 2011.
