Summit Entertainment's RED, based on the DC Comics graphic novel of the same name by Warren Ellis, has begun principal photography in Toronto, COMINGSOON.NET reports.

John Malkovich, Karl Urban, Brian Cox, Richard Dreyfuss and Ernest Borgnine, Julian McMahon, James Remar and Rebecca Pidgeon are also joining previously announced castmates Bruce Willis, Mary-Louis Parker, Helen Mirren and Morgan Freeman.
