After leaving the TV series WEEDS, Elizabeth Perkins is returning to the big screen for Illumination Entertainment and Universal's I HOP, according to THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER. ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS director Tim Hill will be helming the live-action/CG flick.

James Marsden plays a lay-about who inadvertently hurts the son of the Easter Bunny (Russell Brand), which he takes into his home. Perkins takes the role of Marsden's frustrated mother.

Illumination's Chris Meledandri and John Cohen are the producers.
