James Badge Dale (TVs THE PACIFIC) is in talks to join the cast of WORLD WAR Z, reports Show Blitz. He would star opposite Brad Pitt and Mireille Enos. Pitt is set to star as a U.N. worker and Enos will play his character's wife and mother to his two children. Dale will play a soldier who tries to warn people about the zombie outbreak.

Based on Max Brooks' novel and adapted by J. Michael Straczynski and Matt Carnahan, the story is an oral history from various people who survived a zombie outbreak.

Marc Forster is the director and Pitt via Plan B is the producer.
