Original Girl with the Dragon Tattoo Up for Alien Prequel

Noomi Rapace, the breakout star of the Swedish THE GIRL WITH DRAGON TATTOO series, is the latest name to be added to the mix for the lead role in Ridley Scott's ALIEN prequel, reports Deadline.com. The other names circling the project include Carey Mulligan (AN EDUCATION) and Abbie Cornish (BRIGHT STAR). 20th Century Fox is producing.
