CBS has hired Alex O'Loughlin to play Detective Steve McGarrett in its new version of HAWAII-FIVE-O, according to THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER. The MOONLIGHT star will co-star with LOST star Daniel Dae Kim as Detective Chin Ho Kelly. FRINGE creators Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci and CSI: NY exec producer/co-showrunner Peter Lenkov are behind the remake for CBS Studios.
