NEW MOON heartthrob Taylor Lautner is up for the lead in Paramount's adaptation of MAX STEEL, reports the LOS ANGELES TIMES. Based on the Mattel toy line, the story follows Josh McGrath, a college-aged extreme sport athlete who is transformed into a superhero through nanotechnology. J.P. Lavin and Chad Damiani are penning the screenplay.
