Neeson Commissioned for Battleship

Liam Neeson has been cast in Universal's $200 million board game adaptation BATTLESHIP, reports Deadline. He will play Admiral Shane, whose daughter (Brooklyn Decker) is set to marry the film's lead naval officer (Taylor Kitsch). The cast also includes Alexander Skarsgard, Rihanna and Tom Arnold. Peter Berg is set to direct. Production will film in Hawai'i.
