Pajiba.com reports that Millennium Films has offered the lead role in RED SONJA to Megan Fox. Previously, under producer Robert Rodriguez, Rose McGowan was set to star.

Millennium is virtually scrapping the incarnation of the project with director Douglas Aarniokoski out and the studio looking for screenwriting to take another stab at the script from David N. White. The story follows an innocent teen who transforms into a master warrior.

For awhile the project seemed full steam ahead, but Millennium has some funding issues currently and wants to wait to see how their CONAN reboot does before moving ahead with this picture.
