McShane Lines up to Play Villain in Pirates of the Caribbean

Ian McShane (DEADWOOD) is in talks to play the villain Blackbeard in PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: ON STRANGER TIDES, according to THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER.

The project, which is scheduled for release on May 20, 2011, is being directed by Rob Marshall at Walt Disney Pictures.
