Universal has hired Ian McShane (PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: ON STRANGER TIDES) to play one of seven dwarves in SNOW WHITE AND HUNTSMAN, reports Heat Vision. In the new version of the fairy tale, the huntsman (Chris Hemsworth) leads the princess Snow White (Kristen Stewart) into the forest where he trains her to fight against her wicked stepmother (Charlize Theron). McShane takes the role of the dwarf leader Caesar. Filming will begin in August with the release date set for June 1, 2012.
